![]() ![]() Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan The Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan evaluates and ranks the major naturalĪnd technological hazards affecting Wright County as determined by frequency of event, economic impact, deaths, and injuries. Information contained in this plan is applicable to the period or periods of a declared emergency by the Governor of Minnesota or the Wright County Board of Commissioners. It is submitted to the County Board for their approval.Ĭontinuity of Operations Plan The purpose of the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) is to have a county-wide plan for the continued operation of essential government services during a variety of emergencies including those that may last for an extended period of time. This plan is reviewed and updated annually. Radiological Emergency Preparedness Response PlanningĮmergency Operation Plan The plan is made up of a basic plan and annexes that address the role of agencies and personnel responding to all types of emergencies. ![]() These partnerships and collaborative planning have helped develop the following plans that may be needed in a large scale incident or emergency. Additionally partnerships with representatives from county and city entities are maintained through planning collaboration and help to ensure the highest quality of hazard preparedness. The Emergency Management division provides coordination throughout the county and county-wide responding agencies, this includes all 17 cities, 18 townships, schools and business/industry located within Wright County. The Emergency Management division coordinates various emergency and non-emergency trainings, disaster exercises, and administrative functions needed with a county-wide emergency management system. The Emergency Management division strives to protect life and property of the citizens of Wright County through comprehensive planning, equipping and training of personnel who have a significant role in responding to a disaster. Wright County Emergency Management division’s mission is to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from any disaster or incident natural, human caused, or malicious acts including terrorism. ![]()
